All even. Knicks use a 30-2 (!) run to beat the Pacers, tie the series at 1-1. What you need to see: This Iman Shumpter putback dunk.

If you’re wondering what could have possibly happened to prompt Carmelo Anthony to wait outside MSG for Kevin Garnett and the Celtics before they got on the team bus, this video of David Lee should help. If you’ve never had anyone talk s__t to you on a playground or in an organized game, it’s hard to comprehend, but these guys are the hardest to go against because you’re thinking about all the messed up stuff they just said about your mom and not the game you’re playing in.

By the way, ‘Melo was 6 of 26 from the field last night. KG strikes again.

Recommended reading: Jeremy Lin’s “Rocket Man” November GQ cover story by the estimable OG NYC blogger, Will Leitch. Leitch drove with Lin from Manhattan to Bristol, CT where he was taping an ESPN commercial segment (proof that he’s made it into the pantheon of world’s most recognizable athletes). They talked about everything that’s changed in Jeremy’s life, his brother and sister-in-law’s couch, and—of course—what happened with the Knicks.

It’s gonna be tough without him on the Knicks, but I have a hard time with those fans that have dropped the Knicks simply because Dolan and Co. dropped Lin. I’ll root for them regardless of their owner and players. Yes, I’d prefer we kept Lin (this is an understatement), but they’re my team. Maybe it’s because I’m also a Bills fan that I’m so stubborn about this, but if you really want to call yourself a fan, you stick with your team even when they make atrocious and borderline evil moves like not matching Houston’s offer sheet and leaving a befuddled Jeremy headed to Texas.

James Dolan is an awful owner and a more awful person (still not as awful as Donald Sterling though), but I don’t cheer for James Dolan; I cheer for the Knicks. It’s an important distinction.

According to TMZ, this is a photo of an “incredibly drunk” Jason Kidd being carried out of a club around an hour before he crashed his car into a telephone pole and was arrested for DWI.

Kidd hasn’t yet played a game for the Knicks, but he’s already put New Yorkers’ lives at risk. It’s never one too many with these guys. it’s always 10 too many. Time and time and time again, these grown men of means make such selfish, reckless and calculated decisions.
