Wes Welker’s wife went on a Facebook rant about Ray Lewis after the AFC title game.
“Proud of my husband and the Pats,” Burns Welker wrote. “By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis’ Wikipedia page. 6 kids, 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!”

New technologies are ready to make NFL refs more accurate. But don’t hold your breath waiting for them to be implemented.

Four years later, many changes for Patriots, Giants
- Of the 106 players who were on the active rosters for the Giants and Patriots in the Super Bowl on Feb. 3, 2008, only 23 are still employed with the same team today.

Branch Concedes That Pats Caught A Break On Fumble Reversal
The Pats were the better team on Sunday. However, breaks DO help win games. Would things have developed differently had the Jets been awarded the ball still down 10-7 in the third? Jets LB Calvin Pace was still furious about the call about the game:
“It was a fumble.. And again, the referees missed another one. You know what they’re going to do? They’re going to write us a letter about how they missed another call and what does that do? Nothing.
New England Patriots quarterback TOM BRADY, giving his team’s fans advice on how to stay inebriated sloshed classy for their game against the Chargers this Sunday.
The team later clarified, via a statement, that by “lubed up” Brady meant “Stay hydrated and drink a lot of water.”
I guess the Patriots think y’all are already drunk.
In an interview with WEEI this morning, Tom Brady said that he would “welcome Randy Moss with open arms”. Randy has also said that he would come back to New England. So now there is all sort of speculation. I find it really hard to believe that the Patriots would bring him back. If it was up to me, I’d offer him a low contract that’s easy to cut. Ideally an incentive laden deal would work with these players, but not in this case, he’d be asking for the ball way too much in order to reach his incentives. When it’s all said and done, I strongly doubt that Randy Moss will be on the Patriots roster at all this year.
